 TIDY BOYS GO SOCIAL
From 1st December 2011 the Tidy Boys will be taking bookings for 2012 via their social networks Facebook & Twitter. This applies to all gigs in mainland England and Wales only, International, worldwide, festivals and brand night bookings will continue through Chic Talent as they expand this part of their business.
Amadeus tells us why:
'It's now very apparent that we communicate online in totally different way from years gone past, social media both on the web and with mobile apps have changed the way we do business. This certainly applies to DJ bookings and the relationship
between the promoters and the artists, a more fluid and tighter communication network now flows between myself and the promoter who wants to book us. I now get weekly request through Facebook and Twitter from people who want to book the Tidy Boys, which in turn sometimes bypasses our current agency Chic Talent.
It seems logical (considering we only take on limited gigs) that we can deal with these local bookings ourselves, this in turn, is good for both parties and seems a logical step for us to take moving forward. We still have a fantastic relationship with the Chic team and as they focus their resources more internationally and taking Hard House into more generic festivals through their Chic Talent worldwide department we will continue to take all our international, festival and brand night gigs through their office, this is something we are very excited about as we are keen to travel once more and spread the hard house love back around the globe.' Jonni Davis and the Chic team also have some
very exciting plans for Tidy in 2012 which we will be playing a big part in.
Jonni added:
From 1st Dec Chic Talent will be launching its new international agency which will now include a live division plus all the current production services and more .This will now run in 27 languages as we now take Hard House around the globe as well as reposition it within the current UK festival and Club circuit. Its exciting times ahead and with what we have planned for Tidy in 2012 which will ensure we maintain the momentum we require in this current evolution of HH.
